Welcome to Little Molvenny

When it's time to get away from it all, we've got the perfect place for you. Our classic Cornish cottage sits in luscious green fields on the breezy south coast of Cornwall near Porthcurno. Little Molvenny offers you fine seaviews and all the peace and quiet of nature - as well as activities for every taste, outdoors and in, young and old. Enjoy the luxury and relaxation of a first class holiday, with memorable sights and the taste of adventure!

A Cornish holiday cottage to fall in love with

You'll fall in love with Little Molvenny's traditional Cornish charm, airy open plan living, cosy and relaxing bedrooms and beautiful views to the sea from the patio.

Tucked away

Little Molvenny enjoys a secluded hillside spot in private grounds at the end of its own lane. With its own gate this location is perfect for those with young children who love to go exploring.

Open plan living

Our holiday cottage has a very open and airy feel, yet remains cosy on cooler days. With the open plan kitchen / dining / living area you can keep an eye on the kids or keep the conversation flowing with friends, even if one of you is busy in the kitchen. From the open plan sitting room you can access the sun soaked patio, which has a barbecue and a beautiful view down a green valley to the sea.

Cooking & dining

Though the exterior retains all the traditional charm of a coastal cottage, inside you will find all the modern conveniences to make your stay enjoyable. We know that the local cafe's, pubs and restaurants will tempt you, but sometimes it's just nice, after a long day of adventure and exploring, to have a relaxing meal back at the cottage. Whether that's a barbecue on the private terrace, enjoying the views and the sun or a cosy meal near the log burning stove, our holiday cottage is perfectly equipped to let you do exactly as you wish.

Sleep comfortably

Want rest? Our Cornish holiday cottage offers you total tranquillity when you need that retreat from it all. Little Molvenny has three bedrooms with wonderful comfortable mattresses. The two twin rooms have beds that can be converted into doubles to suit your party's sleeping requirements and upstairs (via steep steps) you find a queen sized bed.

Outdoor living

Even if you spend the whole day at the beach, wandering the empty lanes and nature trails or loosing yourself at one of the glorious historic houses or gardens in the area, it's great to be able to come back to the cottage and spend time taking in the wide open views across the adjoining fields. There is also a small enclosed back garden for private sunbathing, or hide and seek fun for the kids.

We're dog friendly

Little Molvenny is the perfect dog friendly holiday cottage in Cornwall. Near beaches and many wonderful walks and canine friendly attractions. The cottage is a few hundred yards from the nearest road, with only our own private house as a neighbour, you can feel comfortable about bringing your dog on holiday.

A superb retreat from the hustle & bustle in a beautiful peaceful location. Equally many things to do in the area to suit all tastes and ages. The cottage – modern, clean, with beautiful fittings & dog friendly – was charming inside & out. Our only wish was to stay longer!

The Perfect Base For So Much

Think of Cornwall and what springs to mind? It's fascinating history ... Poldark, mining, mystical past, pirates & hidden coves ... or perhaps it's the food from Cornwall fresh seafood, pasties, clotted cream & saffron buns ... or is it the beaches, surfing and wide open moorland ... or could it be the art scene of past and present? The Minack Theatre is in walking distance, and so are Porthcurno beach and Pedn Vounder, as well as the fascinating Telegraph Museum, and even Poldark filming locations. But that's just the start of your adventures ...

Breath Taking Coastal Walks

Swim, surf, eat, drink, walk and discover - when you feel like going out, there's a wealth of activities close by, right from the signposted footpaths on to the rich natural environment, history and creative culture of West Cornwall.

Magnificent Views & Harbour Villages

It's not just a stunning sunset that can take your breath away, enjoy the majesty of the stormy seas and brewing storm.

Family Adventures

There's family days out and adventure aplenty within a short distance, such as the Eden project.

A little bit of history

This very contemporary self-catering holiday accommodation was let under the name The Piggery by the previous owner. It has been lovingly converted from a working pig barn into today's scenic holiday let, and although the original farm is long gone, the flourishing fields remain.

Local Food & Markets

Is it fresh fish or a cream tea you desire? Maybe a simple Cornish pasty, scampi in a basket and a pint of scrumpy at a cosy Cornish village pub, or one of the many fine dining restaurants that Cornwall has to offer. There are wonderful local food markets like the fish market at Newlyn or Heamoor, Sennen and St Buryan Farmers’ Markets all close by.
