The bred is locally produced and check out their stock of Vivian Olds meats which is a fabulous local butcher! There is also a little farmer’s stall opposite the duck pond in Trethewey (take the road as if you are going to Landsend and it is about 500 meters) with fresh local eggs and a small vegetable selection depending what's in season. It operates an honesty box system so remember to take your small change! Larger supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Co-operative and Lidls can be found in Penzance and Newlyn. Both Sainsubury’s and Tesco offer on-line ordering and delivery as well. Please give the following instructions as sat nav can be a little bit unpredictable up here. Ask the driver to take the road to Purthcurno and turn right into the private lane at the second white house on the right hand side called Carn Voel. Then just carry on all the way until they reach the cottage.
